It promotes a healthy and active root zone at all stages of growth. GPH Uptake is a soluble humic acid formula. It helps the plant absorb nutrients throughout its life cycle. Humic acid acts as a chelator. Once added, it enhances the soil's ability to retain nutrients. This means your soil retains all added nutrients until your plant is ready to use them. Once ready, the chelating properties of humic acid transform nutrients into a form easily absorbable by the plant. Consequently, essential immobile micronutrients, such as calcium, become easier for the plant to absorb. Humic acid also promotes the colonization of mycorrhizal fungi in the plant's rhizosphere. Mycorrhiza allows the plant to fully utilize nutrients present in the root zone that would otherwise be inaccessible.
