CA 15 Calcium 15% 200L by Bionova is a mineral fertilizer for food use containing 15% calcium. CA 15 Calcium 15% is designed to improve plant health and prevent nutritional deficiencies. Calcium is essential for stabilizing cell walls and for the proper functioning of ionic reactions within plants. Its application is particularly useful in situations of high humidity or in compact crops, where water conduction may be compromised.

Calcium helps maintain the rigidity of cell walls and prevents fungal diseases. A deficiency of calcium can manifest with young leaves dying and growth points deteriorating. Additionally, an excess of calcium can cause brown spots on leaves. It is crucial to monitor calcium levels to ensure healthy plant growth.

CA 15 is recommended for weekly applications during fruit formation. This helps prevent physiological disorders such as blossom end rot in tomatoes and bitter pit in apple trees. In humid environments, it is advisable to double the dosage to strengthen plant tissues. Moreover, the use of CA 15 is recommended when using soft water or reverse osmosis, increasing the dosage up to three times.
